Our Mission
The mission of Nearby Nature Milwaukee is to support, promote and celebrate environmentalism in Milwaukee’s communities of color. We work to renew natural areas in those communities and provide access for all.
Vision Statement
Nearby Nature Milwaukee is an environmental justice and equity initiative working to build healthier and more resilient communities. We believe celebrating natural areas enhances a community’s value and improves health and wellness. We hope to ensure that members of marginalized communities have a leadership role in gaining equitable access to nature.
