2022 Lincoln Creek Greenway Summit
Saturday, June 25th, 9 am to 4 pm

Last winter, Nearby Nature hosted a series of “Lincoln Creek Conversations” to connect with stakeholders and prepare for this one-day summit. We want to bring everyone together to focus on key issues and potential paths forward, for revitalizing and renewing the Lincoln Creek Greenway.  This is an environmental justice initiative of Nearby Nature Milwaukee.

This summit is designed for representatives of stakeholder organizations in, or engaged in, Lincoln Creek neighborhoods.  If you represent a stakeholder organization or if you just want to be more involved, join us using the registration link below.

Schedule:

8:30 am– coffee, rolls and greetings
9 am to 11:30 am– presentations and panels
[Welcome, history, background, environmental justice context, stakeholder presentations]
11:30  am to 1 pm – Lunch and guided nature walk
1 pm to 4 pm – Breakout sessions and wrap-up
[Sessions to include arts, youth work, stewardship, recreation, health & wellness and more]
