Nearby Nature and partners are proud to announce the 2023 African American Environmental Pioneer Awards. It’s our FOURTH annual event to honor those in Milwaukee’s African American community working for a better environment. This is an exciting and memorable event to honor the work of these environmental pioneers. Doors will open at 5:30 pm for refreshments and light fare. The program will begin promptly at 6:30 pm.
